| Where I Met My Family: |
|
I was a Christmas present for my first mom and dad, but I arrived in time for their 54th wedding anniversary in September. I remember a long ride to my new home and waiting in the car until my new owners came out to see me. They fell in love with me the moment they laid eyes on me. There was a big production about my name and they finally settled on Roberts Sean Rufus of Leroy but they just called me Rusty.
When I was about 6 months old, I met ‘The Girl’ it was love at first sight for both of us. She only came for a visit then and a few times after that. I lived happily with my first mom and dad for about 1 ½ years then dad got sick and one day he went away and never came home. It made me sad but I still had mom and soon after that ‘The Girl’ was coming over more often, this made me happy. I also got to go for rides to see her and a new place filled with all sorts of smells and cool stuff. Then mom started going away for days at a time. I didn’t like that, it made me confused but I got to stay with ‘The Girl’ and she let me sleep on her bed even though I wasn’t allowed to at home. I stayed with them whenever mom went away for awhile and I went home when she came back, then one day she didn’t come back home. Everyone around me was really sad and so was I.
It was after that I went to live with my new mom and ‘The Girl’ and her brothers. Most of the time I like her brothers but when they want to wrestle with me I growl at them, they say I sound like Chewbacca when I do that. Ummm…who’s Chewbacca? |
