Chelsea and her friend, Sasha, were found running from behind our facility into Canton Road. We got the girls to safety and posted signs trying to find their home. After a few days, we were forced to turn them into Cobb County…it is county law for rescue groups to turn in stray animals. This is one of the hardest things to do given we know what happens in the shelters. But, Cobb County worked quickly to track down the girl’s “guardians” and called to let us know the people did not want them any more. Once released to Cobb County, we could legally bring them into our organization. And we did! Chelsea is a cute, fun girl with fluffy dark fur and a beautiful smile. She looks out the window waiting for her person to arrive and take her home…could that person be you?!

| To rescue animals from death row and to find them permanent loving homes. Also, we seek to educate our community on pet overpopulation, the importance of spay and neuter, animal safety and kindness and compassion toward our companion animals. |
