Hi, my name is Princess. I’m a retired show champion. They say I’m very skittish and I was on Rescue Remedy for the first few days I was here. I’ve bonded with my foster Mom. She thinks I’d do best in a doxie savvy home, possibly where I’m the only dog. I look to be black and tan but you can see my blonde roots, so I am a wild boar. I’m also a mini wirehair, 11.6 lb. at my last vet check. I’m house trained if I stict to a schedule, going out every few hours. My foster home has a fenced in back yard, but I walk perfectly fine on a leash. If strangers come in the house, I’ll hide behind the couch for a few minutes, then I’ll slowly come out. Food is a good way to become my friend. That saying “A way to a doxie’s heart is through it’s belly” is so true in my case! I spent the last two months with a nice couple in Maryland, but I did not get along with the gentleman at all:) That's why I'm allowed to go to a home WITH WOMEN ONLY! I've got a birthday coming up the end of this month. Let me come spend it with you! They tell me I can come home with you for $225.00.
