| Where I Met My Family: |
|
You might be wondering how I came to live with my Mom. I was homeless when I met her. I had gotten in a race with a car trying to cross the street. Car won. A passerby found me, picked me up and took me to the corner vet. My Mom happened to be there with her pet rabbit – actually she was dating the vet at the time. (Hey – what a great way to save money on vet bills!) They brought me in and I remember that the vet said I was in pretty bad shape so they wanted to “put me out of my misery.” But Mom said no way and that she would take me home. (Glad she eventually dumped the vet!) So I got another chance and they agreed to take a look at me. But they were right, I was pretty beat up. I had two surgeries to fix a broken and dislocated hip and another to “fix” me! But if you ask my Mom, she’ll tell you some way, somehow I still have my balls! |

| My First Day with Them: |
|
After six weeks living in a cage (but hey, some of the technicians looking after me were pretty cute!), I got to go and live with my new family. When I arrived, I was the only cat in the house living with one human and five rabbits. The place looked pretty good, nice new house, nice garden even though my Mom won’t let me go outside. But I was pretty lonely. All these herbivores – you can hear them all munching at dinner time. I was introduced to Ethel – a big Dutch bunny, but she just growled at me and chased me away. So I had no one to play with. I was so lonely I couldn’t sleep. And I guess neither could Mom. I guess I was a little loud. The vet talked about taking out my local cords, but my Mom said no way. I think she had something else in mind. |
