Animals have always been apart of my life.
I received my veterinary technology degree in 2003 and was hired at an animal hospital after completing my externship there. I have pet sat for clients, coworkers, family, friends, and members of care. com.
Pet sitting is something I have always loved doing. I really care about animals and like to see them happy and healthy. I believe most pets do better in their own environment when their owners are away.
I would love to be there and spend time with your pet while you're stuck at work, on vacation, or have a last minute emergency! I always make sure they have fresh water, are fed (esp. if they are picky eaters), have plenty of play time, and if you have cats, that their litter boxes are scooped at least twice a day (I will provide care information sheets will for specific caring, feeding, walking, and medication instructions).
I am comfortable around dogs, cats and most small pets (guinea pigs, small lizards, chinchillas, ferrets, etc.)
Pet sitting: 1-3 pets: $15/visit/1-2 hrs---up to 3 visits a day for 1 wk $150
4 or more pets: $25/visit/1-2 hrs---up to 3 visits a day for 1 wk $200
Overnight pet/house sitting: $35 per night
Pet walking only: $10/hr
Nail trims: $10
Ear cleanings: $10
Administration of medication: $10
Yard pet waste removal: $30/wk
Scrapbooks: $25
Framed "uneek" pictures of you and your pet/your pet only: $12
Drawing of your pet: $30
Photos/videos of your pet put together in a dvd format with music: $45
