It was love at first sight at the mall where my mommy and 2 human sisters saw me! When mommy reached her hand into my playpen to touch me, I held onto the wrist of her jacket playfully with my teeth. When she picked me up, I knew it was a match made in Heaven! My sisters were excited and anxious to take me home.
My First Day with Them:
My first day with them was so exciting. When they brought me home, I immediately met my Pekingese brother, Mugsy, and also my daddy. My daddy called a family meeting to decide on my name. It was my first time in the spotlight and boy did I shine! The girls argued over what to name me. One wanted to name me "Diva" and the other wanted to name me "Precious", mommy wanted to name me "Princess" and daddy wanted to name me "Daisy". They toyed with the idea of putting all the names together to form: Precious Princess Diva Daisy. Heh, it could have worked, I suppose but they thought I deserved one name. Then Daddy had a brilliant idea to put all of those names in a hat and we'd take the best out of three. To everyone's surprise, Daisy was pulled the first two times!! They suspected he cheated but he showed them that there was no possible way he could have. Everyone later agreed that Daisy was a cute name for me!
They held me alot but I was quite anxious to get down and play with my new canine brother, Mugsy. We got along instantly!
Cool Tricks I Do:
If someone asks, "Give me five" I raise up my two front paws and give them five!
When my mommy or daddy say "rawwwr" and raise up their hands I do it back by raising up my two front paws!
I will sit on command, especially for a cookie.
I play patty cake with my mommy! Oh, and I also play peekaboo with her, it gets me very excited. She likes to hide under a blankie and I always try to dig her out. It makes my mommy laugh.
Mommy says I take out my hair bows faster than she can blink and that should also be considered a "trick". She tries to buy ones she think I won't find a way to take out this time....and we test them out. I have to say, I let her think she has her way, especially so that she can take pictures of me. I'm quite photogenic and I never fuss. But as soon as she walks away and puts the camera out, I'm wild child again. LOL.
Things I like:
I like wrestling with Mugsy all day and night. He even lets me win sometimes.
I love cuddlin' with my mommy. I love playing with Mugsy and my human sister. I just love being the center of attention!!
I love to spend quality time with my family, watching comedies, writing poetry, music, singing, playing with my dogs, teaching them tricks, taking them for rides in the car, reading poetry to my daughter and Daisy, making bath salts, shopping, shopping for my dogs, photographing my dogs and children, quiet time for me....
I don’t like:
I don't like people who mistreat children or animals. They are precious.
