I met my forever human companions on March 29, 2008; they drove out to see me at my breeder's acreage. |

| My First Day with Them: |
|
I went home with my Mammy on Thursday, April 17, 2008. She brought her friend along to help -- good thing too, 'cause I squirmed right out of my PJs and harness and out of my car booster seat! When we arrived home, Pappy and bird-sister Zulu were there to greet me. Everyone was shocked and amazed; in my first evening home, I answered to my name, found my food and water dishes, did my business where I was supposed to (okay, one accident... but hey!) and slept in my crate without a peep from 11 pm to 7 the next morning!! |

| Cool Tricks I Do: |
|
I can come when I'm called and will sit and lie down on command. I'm learning how to stay and heel, but it might take some time. I'm an excitable guy! I can jump straight up like a cat and sometimes I can catch my own tail. Speaking of tails, I managed to get two of Zulu's tail feathers once! Don't worry, Zulu's fine; her new feathers grew in and she still loves trying to get my attention by calling and whistling for me (I don't listen to her!). |

Things I like: |
|
Pretty much every one and every thing, including dogs and others animals. I cry with excitement from the time we leave home 'til the time we return when we go to puppy obedience classes and small dog socials. (My obedience instructor says it sounds like I have a "slow leak"). I love raw veggies and I really like my fish-flavored food and treats. Having the harness put on -- that means we're going for a ride in the car in my special seat. |

I don’t like: |
|
I don't *love* having my nose shaved or being bathed, but I'll tolerate it. Also, I'd prefer not to have to wear a collar; I try to eat the tags on it when I'm bored. Clothes aren't my favorite thing, but since I'm almost entirely hairless, I don't mind having them on when it's cool. |
