Where I Met My Family:
The day I met my family, I was surrounded by lots and lots of dachshunds in a teeny, tiny little house! I was chillin' on the couch (I could see the snow outside too) hoping someone like them would come along and take me home with them.
My First Day with Them:
My first day with my new family was filled with mixed emotions. My new mommy had just had to have her long time friend Robbie put to sleep because he had cancer. So she and my other mommy went to the house where I was living to look over all the other puppies living there. But, they took one look at me all alone on the sofa and I could see it in their eyes that they loved me right away.
After they got me, we went to this BIG store where they bought me my first collar and some toys. I wasn't too happy about having that thing put on my neck, it drove me crazy, itching and itching. Finally we got to my new house and I got to sleep in my mommy's rocking chair for hours and hours, and she even laid on the sofa and let me snuggle up with her, even though she was crying a lot. I think I helped her not be real sad about her friend Robbie (that was his name), though, because she let me sleep with her that night and for many nights after that.
Cool Tricks I Do:
Puppy Roll, Sit Up and Wave like a Crazy Dog, Dead Puppy, Run Puppy, Run, Shake Hands and then the Other Hand (I can say "I love you," too!)
Things I like:
Popcorn, chewing gum, Aquafina Flavor Splash, goin' bye-bye, checking the mail, treats, Nicki, Bill, Brenda and the kids and of course, my two moms!
JaJa Binks his first week with his humans. He had to go to work with one of them. They didn't want to leave him home alone at such a young age! He loves all his TNT Aunties!
