Where I Met My Family:
I met my parents a meet and greet at Petco. I saw my now dad and got his attention by putting my paw on him. My parents tell me that when they saw me they knew I was meant to be their dog. The sad thing (heart breaking my mom tells me) was that someone had but an application in before they did somehow. So I was adopted but a few days later, luckily, they brought me back because we did not get along. My foster mom lived on the next street to my now-home. My mom and dad went and snatched me right up.
I was a bit nervous. I am better with females so I stayed near mom at first and followed her around. Mom and dad stayed with me all day. We went outside and played. They made me feel loved and comfortable. Now I love my home and feel so lucky.

Mom taught me a lot and aside from regular obedience I know Bow, Paw, Other paw, High Five, Wave, Which one, Crawl, Up, Hug, Tap on window or door when I want to come in, Catching all sorts of things in the air. I love doing tricks and everyone says I am so brilliant. I keep learning more.

I love agility and playing. I play with mom and dad, other dogs, and individually. I love toys so much. my yard is full of them which is so exciting. When playtime is over my favorite thing is cuddling with my family in their bed. They got me the best bed; it is big, Forest green, and has my name on it, they also gave me a small goosedown blanket because I have learned that I love it (Mom says I am a little spoiled). I love to smile, also. Did I mention I love to meet and play with other doggies. Oh and sometimes I watch TV with them (I like animal planet and dog whisperer. I like when they give me treats (I love food.)
I like most things. I am sure I can thing of something though. One thing I know is that I wish I knew when my birthday was. I was born on a farm in kentuckey and came to my parents when I was 6-8 months. We think my birthday is sometime in August.
I really hate animal abuse and I hate that people think sometime doggies are aggresive when they are scared. All people should learn to read dogs. I hate that Ceaser Milan cannot rehabilitate all dogs, I bet fewer would be taken to the pound or abadoned.

I love to cuddle with my dog (border collie/aussie mix) and my husband. I got married in June '07 I like to read and to horseback ride. We just bought a house so I love my home and yard. I hate the idea that we are somehow better than animals. The atrocities they face at our hands are shameful. They kill for food or out of protection; what is our [humans] excuse. For a race that knows so much, how can we consciously do what we do to animals, who we need to be champians for.
